JCPenney - The retailer reported a loss of 25 cents on sales of $3.15 billion, missing expectations for a loss of 11 cents a share on revenue of $3.41 billion. Billionaire investor Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway said it increased positions in Wal-Mart , Wells Fargo , Bank of New York and DirecTV , while taking new stakes in General Motors and Viacom , according to its latest 13F filing.
